Chinese Restaurant KORAKUEN HANTEN
One of the representative dishes of Tokyo Dome City is “Shark Fin Noodle Soup”! The Chinese high-grade material with noodle soup is the specialty of KORAKUEN HANTEN.
KORAKUEN HANTEN was established in 1962. Shigeo Nagashima, Giants’ Honorary director for life, and also those involved in baseball and baseball fans have loved this restaurant since the time of Korakuen Stadium. Many of their standard dishes have been served since the Showa period. “Shark Fin Noodle Soup” is one of them. While Mr. Nagashima was director, the person in charge of KORAKUEN HANTEN was trying to make new dishes for him with various materials. “Shark Fin Noodle Soup” was one of the results because Mr. Nagashima liked shark fin and soy sauce ramen. Since Mr. Nagashima advertised it widely in Japan, this dish became a representative dish of KORAKUEN HANTEN.
Another dish you may want to try is the chef’s seasonal specialty. There are dishes where you could feel seasons. You will enjoy scorched rice with starchy sauced seafood and shark fin in winter, and noodle with spicy soymilk cold soup in spring. At the moment, there are three kinds of “cold noodle.” They are very popular seasonal dishes for summer. They are served until the end of August, so, don’t miss it.
KORAKUEN HANTEN has many private rooms which suit various occasions such as banquet, Buddhist service, year-end or new year party. They offer the plans, like weekday lunch for ladies, and weekends’ “A-La-Carte buffet” where you can order among over 50 dishes including “Peking Duck” and “prawn in chili sauce.” Please choose KORAKUEN HANTEN when you want to enjoy genuine Chinese food with people you are close to.
