CANAL CAFE
“The resort of Kagurazaka” is the Canal Cafe where you can enjoy food and drink at the riverside. You can see the café through the train window of Sobu Line. Its nice atmosphere with the boat deck may have attracted a lot of attention. Origin of the café is established with the boat dock produced by Tokyo Suijyo Club in 1918.
There was only a little leisure in Tokyo for the citizens when this boat dock opened. So it was opened to supply a place of recreation and relaxation for citizens.
At present, its main business is Italian Restaurant and Café but the boat deck is still active. A part of the profit from the rental boats at the dock is contributed for children suffered by 3.11 earthquake. The Tokyo Suijyo Club is willing to use their boats for social activity.

If you would like to have a genuine Italian food, you may choose the restaurant side. There are also deck seats by the river. You can experience joy of an open view that you cannot believe it is Kagurazaka, the center of Tokyo.

There are a la carte dishes with fresh seafood from Tsukiji market and vegetables in season from contracted farmers are available.

You may enjoy your summer evening seeing the glow of fireflies with a glass of drink.
